This
beautiful and immaculate bed and breakfast in a home
in Seward's Historic District has views of Resurrection
Bay, Mount Alice, and Marathon Mountain, where a
footrace to the top and back takes place every Fourth
of July.
The Branson House Bed & Breakfast is within
easy walking distance of the downtown shops and museums
that are festooned with the many colorful giant murals
produced by the local Mural Society. We
are also within easy walking distance of the Seward
Boat Harbor, home to the Silver Salmon Derby, tour
boat operators, sea lions and sea otters.

and private bath. The charge for this lovely
suite is $189.00 per night plus tax.

The Yellow Room has a magnificent four-poster bed. The
charge for this spacious and beautiful room, which
shares a bath, is $129.00 per night plus tax.
A lovely cooked breakfast is
served at arranged-for times from
7AM to 8:30AM.
Check in time is between 4PM and
7PM, unless other arrangements
have been made. Check out time is 10AM. The Branson
House is a non-smoking home. Sorry, no pets. We
do, however, have an on-site small white dog named
Lili to greet you.

sells fine art and other treasures from around the
world and Alaska.
The outdoor recreational opportunities in Seward
are unparalleled. There is sea kayaking, boat
touring, hiking, and world class fishing for grayling,
rainbow, halibut, salmon, cod and bass. Wildlife
viewing includes seeing humpback and gray whales,
sea lions, seals, sea otters, and puffins. Land
animals often seen are bears and mountain goats. Seward
is the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park,
the Harding Ice Field, and the rest of Alaska. Seward's

Seward is host to the Alaska SeaLife Center, a non-profit
marine science center that has displays and information
about many of the sea creatures, both large and small,
that inhabit Resurrection Bay. Come touch
a starfish!
